Wow, thanks for all of the information. I had no idea there were so many considerations (fortunately, I haven't had any clients declare bankruptcy).

As a native of the Detroit area, the whole mess at the US automakers saddens me. Unfortunately, nearly all of their wounds are self-inflicted.

Having your company/client declare bankruptcy is one of those experiences you never want to go through, however, once you're involved, there is a lot to learn in a short time and it's interesting.

My hope is very few have to experience it.
