The loss to the nation is immense. No matter what was happening, he kept his social mission front of mind. I don't know of any other politician that operates that way. When we worry about what is happening to the lower paid and middle class as their salaries continue to slip and reliable healthcare, education and jobs become even harder to come by, he did something about it. It felt good that each of us could rely on him even though we did not live in Massachusetts.

Thank you so much for remembering him here.

Margaret, Agreed. My hope is that he rubbed off on so many people throughout his life that the mission will continue long in to the future.
