Thanks for sharing. I gave the cited post a read too. I found it interesting that they didn't address over-praise. Where is the upper tail in the research? Would a ratio 10:1 also result in medium performance or does the correlation follow exponentially? Can anyone even be that positive?


Great post. Sorry I missed it last week, but I will make sure others see it this week. It shouldn't be surprising, but it is actually kind of amazing that the results are so clear cut. I would also like to find out more along the lines of Joe Rice's request regarding over-praise (if there is such a thing.)

Imagine if the avg ratio of 5.6: was heavily weighted to "super-performers" with a ration of 20: !!! without the data we just don't know
