I will take up your challenge and try and do all that you have suggested with the next incentive plan I help create. I will post an update if it works, and hope you will forget I wrote this if it doesn't.

Perhaps we can make it a case study if I fail.

Well said, Margaret. I'm working with an international client now who is looking to change their incentive plan. Let's see if we can inject more emotion into the mix, though I have to say that some cultures tend to be more or less engaged by such suggestions. I often hear,"Oh Chuck, you have to understand the xxxx" or "That's just the way the xxxx think." Some folks prefer the cut and dry, though personally I'd take that margarita!
