Timing can render knowledge futile. Knowing at the right time is critical. Every decision is based on the Best Available Data at the time the decision is made. I have referenced that acronym before, stating that every decision will always be a B.A.D. one. Learn the full facts too late... sorry, you must wait until next time to handle it better.

If you lack Resources, you also might not be able to make effective use of the knowledge. There are many other examples, I know, but these might be starters.
