Your blogs are aways quality Dan!

I have to admit that after reading the title, I had anticipated an article along the lines of pay plans that look good on the surface of the employment offer but are counterintuitive to success or don't pay out at all in reality.

The situation is a painful reality for some companies. Maybe a topic for someone in the future?

Thanks for the idea for a future post! This is a real issue. I usually find it happens less because of intention and more because of inattention.

Many comp pros and executives don't fully understand how their plans work. They then communicate their misunderstanding as fact. Then everyone is surprised when things fall apart.
