I have to wonder what sort of 'transformation' went on at Wells Fargo where employees created false 'product sales' for years and the only people terminated were the lowest paid employees. And also what happened in the Marine Corps at Paris Island where young Marines were 'hazed' for years with no penalty to any member of the officer Corp. What sort of behaviors were part of any 'performance management' in these instances one wonders. I am sure that the Marine Corps and Wells Fargo leadership have knowledge of what makes organizations successful from a human resources standpoint. What is going wrong in our organizations and with our leaders? Gotta be something missing somewhere between the 'knowing and the doing'. What might that be?
