Great points Chuck.
There are lots of shocking circumstances and practices in many jurisdictions outside the USA. Even as the environment of survey availability and data quality keeps improving in some places, it is common to have bosses who cringe at the cost of some surveys.

You are right in that too many underestimate the great value of good survey data relative to the puny costs of the same.

I once had a boss who even suggested that the survey providers should be the ones paying our company for the privilege of us providing the data to participate in the survey! You can imagine my troubles trying to get funds (through this boss) for access to multiple survey data sources!!

Thank you.
